Got 5/10 from me because her setting was too general, poor grammar did not have a full description of the main character.

Got 6/10 from me because his setting was way to short, had some grammar faults and the main charecter description was incomplete.

Got a 5/10 from me because his entire post about the story was too general, and had grammar imperfections.

The silk scarf by Ahmed Essop
SETTING
This story took place in Johannesburg, at a shopping centre(Oriental Plaza) during some time after apartheid.
PLOT
The story started off with two ladies, Mrs Nebo( the wife of an important official of the African front) and Margaret( her companion) who were on a shopping expedition. While shopping, an Indian dress caught her eye; she bought it and asked the shopkeepers if they had a silk scarf to match the same dress but they didn't. She then continued to look for a matching silk scarf until she came across a shop and she found it. The shopkeeper wrapped up the scarf, Mrs Nebo was ready to take it home but then she realized that she didn't have enough cash. She offered a check but the shop didn't want to accept it at any circumstance. Margaret tried to convince Mr Sakur, the shopkeeper, by telling him who Mrs Nebo is but he still didn't accept it. They kept on disputing, other shopkeepers around became aware of it and came by to know what was happening. Margaret insisted by making it clear of who Mrs Nebo is but Mr Sakur persisted with his decision of taking no cheques. Other shopkeepers thought of what could happen to them if the lady didn't get the scarf and they got intimidated. To solve the no-win situation that was going on, the shopkeepers decided to buy the scarf from Mr Sakur and gave it to Mrs Nebo as a present.

THROUGH THE TUNNEL by Dorris llessing
SETTING: the set took place during summer, it was a holiday. The days were sunny and it was at a beach.
PLOT: Jerry is a young English boy who went spending the holidays at a place near a beach. That same beach was not so amusing for him; he always had more interest on going to a wild, dangerous and rocky bay near that place. After a while, his mother allowed him to go to that bay, he started swimming and he found caves on the rocks under the water. He got curious in finding if those same caves would lead him to another place but he couldn’t go much further because he didn’t have a controlled breathing and his nose bled every time he stayed too long under the water. He asked his mother for a pair of swimming goggles for a better vision and went to the bay everyday to practice and control his breathing under water. After some days he got the breathing situation under control and went swimming through the caves again, this time with the mission of really finding where the paths in those caves lead to .He took a rock to help him dive and make his way through the caves simultaneously counting the time he spent under the water from the moment he dived in. He swam through the rock caves trying to find a way out, and then started having some complications, he started losing air, his nose started bleeding again due to the excessive time under water, his head was pulsing and heart was cracking, he was afraid that he could die. After struggling down the darkness between the lapses into unconsciousness he finally reached the surface, his face turned up into the air and he got some air into his lungs. He took some time to recover the air loss, went home and rested. Afterwards he had lunch with his mother and told her about his accomplishment.
MAIN CHARECTER:
ü Jerry is an eleven years old young English boy.
ü He is over protected by his mother.
ü He also is kind if lonely, mostly in need of pals.
ü Jerry is also very courageous and mission-setted.
ü He is a curious boy and the kind of child that will not rest until accomplishing what he wants.
ü He is also a bit mysterious (does not give full details to his mother).
ü He found better ways to go through the watery caves at a bay which other children couldn’t do which also makes him an adventurous, smart and logical boy.
MY BLOGGING EXPERIENCE
First i have to say that blogging is fantastic. I used to ignore it but once I started on with it, it felt pretty great. I have to admit that blogging is nothing like twitter, facebook, or any other social network. Well, blogging also has it detriments, it is really addictive, it requires a lot of patience, because updating, and setting my posts and profile straight is time consuming. The best part about blogging is that I get to express myself completely regardless of the topic, I can post my point of view of different things and when freedom of speech is involved, I fully support it. By having a log it feels like I create my own world, I can post the things that are ideal to me, I can share my favourite activities, tastes, etc, with the world. What I also like about logging is that I get followers which are people who view and follow my blog and I like it because it makes me feel kind of special. If people follow me, it’s because they somehow like or agree with what i post in my blog or like the persona I described in my profile. I can also share my favourite music, videos and pictures with the world which is pretty awesome. People comment on posts, and i like it because it helps me get a review of what others think of my thoughts towards thing/ people. Well, that’s pretty much it, so BLOG to DIALOG. :-) :-) ;-)
